I designed a structurally resilient stool constructed entirely from 100% recycled cotton, leveraging principles of tension and torque to achieve a load-bearing capacity exceeding 80kg—eight times the required minimum. This material-first approach transformed soft, sustainable fibers into a stable seating solution that demonstrates how thoughtful structural engineering can unlock unexpected performance from unconventional materials.
